About The Clubhouse

The original Clubhouse was built in 1880 and has been developed over the years to satisfy the needs of the members and the growing number of visitors to the Club each year.

Prior to 1880 there were no clubhouse facilities.

The original clubhouse was a single story building and housed the lockers of the Members' at the time. This is now our formal Dining Room and features the original lockers, our Past Captains pictures and main honours boards. You are welcome to browse around the room, subject to use.

The Clubhouse was refurbished in 2008 and presents the perfect environment for pre and post refreshment and reflection on your game.

Our Welcome Hosts will greet you on arrival and are on hand to offer whatever assistance you need.

From Monday 3rd June 2024, the Club House opening hours are: - 

Club house open from 7.00am with tea and coffee available
Breakfast available from 8.30 am 
Lunch menu available from 11am
Last orders for food 8.30pm and drink 9.30pm. 

Please note that from Monday 3rd June our outdoor terrace overlooking the 18th green will be open (subject to weather conditions). This is the perfect space to enjoy a post-round drink or even an evening meal.
