The course will be closed from 1pm on 28 May to 1 June 2025 as we are hosting the Scottish Men's Open Amateur Championship.
The course will be closed for visitor play from 15 to 21 September 2025 for course maintenance.

Visitors are welcome to play the course from 1st March to 30th November annually at the below times.
Monday to Friday 11.00am - 12.10pm
Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Sunday - 1.30pm to 3.40pm

All golfers should play "Ready Golf".
A 4-ball should not take more than 3 hours and 40 minutes to play the West Links.
Caddie requests should be made at the time of booking or, where possible, no later than 14 days prior to the day of play. Caddies are subject to availability.
The current caddie rate is £70.00 plus gratuity which should be paid directly to the caddies on completion of your round. Please note any caddies cancelled on the day will incur a £20 cancellation fee.
Please note that we offer a limited forecaddie service which is purely advice and not carrying a bag. The current forecaddie rates are: -
2 players - £35 per player plus gratuity
3-4 players - £30 per player plus gratuity
Please note our caddies will carry one players bag during the round.
The undulating terrain is not suitable for golf buggies / carts.
Push trolleys are available for hire from the Professionals Shop at a cost of £5. There is also a limited number of electric trolleys available for hire at a cost of £20. Please book an electric trolley, in advance, with our Bookings Department.
Titleist hire clubs are available for both gentlemen and ladies, left handed and right handed at a cost of £50.00 per round inclusive of a push trolley. Please book in advance of play with our Bookings Department.
Putting and chipping practice areas are adjacent to the 1st tee. Two warm up nets are located by the Professional's Shop. We do have a full length practice facility which is located a 5 minute drive from the Clubhouse. Should you wish to use this please inform us at the time of your booking and we will provide you with the information your require.
On the Course
An acceptable standard of golfing attire should be worn.
Jeans, track suits, cargo shorts, t-shirts and similar are not permitted.
Off the Course
We have a relaxed dress code in the Club House. However, ripped or dirty jeans, track suits and similar, rugby, football and other sports tops are not permitted.
We kindly ask that hats and caps are removed when in the Club House.
Please do not make voice calls in public areas and show respect to other clubhouse users.
Many walkers ,en route to the beach, cross the course via historic "rights of way".
Please give priority to these walkers and ensure it is safe to play before doing so. The beach is in play on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 12th, 13th and 14th holes and particular care should be given when playing these holes.
Golfers are reminded to shout "Fore" in the event of an errant shot.

We have three Defibrillators located at key locations around the property.
The two on-course units are positioned at the Practice Area Building and Greenkeepers Facility and just requiring a call to 999 to gain access to the secure cabinets. Our third defibrillator unit is positioned within the Attendant Area of the Club House.
Our catering facilities are available to visitors. Please click here to learn more about our Clubhouse and to view sample menus. Pre or post golf functions can be arranged on request.
The partners of those playing golf are welcome to accompany them on the course. They may also use the clubhouse facilities on the day of play. The clubhouse dress policy applies.
Please note that we do not allow golfers to take dogs on the course. Anyone accompanying a golfer on the course may not take a dog.
The club does not have a formal car park and golfers may park on the adjacent public streets. Please allow sufficient time to find a parking space as the area is often very busy.
All golfers should report to the Starter's Lodge prior to their tee time.
If you believe you will be arriving late, please contact the Starter's Lodge on 01620 897147 as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to accommodate you subject to tee time availabilty.
